Our story

The first time we felt this material on our feet, we were sold. In fact, we wanted to replace our entire sock collection immediately. But bamboo socks alone were not enough, we looked for more: extreme wearing comfort, high quality, hygienic and sustainable.

And so our journey began…

We knew what we wanted and how we wanted it. Our search took us to many different manufacturers and suppliers. We bought hundreds of socks. They all tried, under the motto 'if it's nothing, then at least we have enough socks for the rest of our lives'. Some were good, some were better, but none were perfect.

Since 2015, our partners have been producing according to our wishes. The best fit in the highest quality bamboo. Fairly produced for a fair price. We sat down with designers and not much later it was there: the perfect bamboo sock. Bambocks was born.

Made from bamboo in combination with high-quality organic cotton, in the way you expect from us: more environmentally friendly than traditional cotton and sustainable. And we're not there yet. Our journey has only just begun…
